Fall & Halloween 2026 Events from Kingstree to the Coast

Monster house at night in Kingstree, SC, with glowing eyes in the upstairs windows and wooden teeth across the porch

This year our house in Kingstree grew teeth.

It started with a lumber run to Cooper’s Country Store in Salters. On October 9, William Cooper and Noah Mims cut the lumber for me right there at the store. By that afternoon there was a row of wooden teeth across the porch and a set of eyes in the upstairs windows. By 9 p.m., the monster house was lit and glowing.

Building it got me thinking about everything else going on this fall between Kingstree and the coast. So here’s the list I’d hand a friend: what’s happening, when, and where.
